IN HOUSE RECREATIONAL SOCCER PLAYER PROGRAM

 

 

Recreational Soccer

 

RGSA brings together U6–U18 recreational players who want to play for fun and enjoyment.

 

SOCCER FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN'S:

 

 For boys and girls ages 4–6 (U5–U6), the teams are coed. The children play 4 versus 4 format. There are no goalkeepers, and the team coaches are on the field with the kids.

 

 

For boys and girls ages 6–7 (U7–U8), the teams are a single gender. The children play in a 5 versus 5 format. We use a modified set of soccer rules for these age groups.

 

 

For boys and girls ages 8–11 (U9–U12), the teams are organized by gender. The children play in a 7 versus 7 and 9 versus 9 format, with goalkeepers, referees and all soccer rules, including the offside rule. 

 

RGSA progression of adding players to a larger field as they grow older provides many benefits. It adds confidence at younger ages, and gives children a pathway to playing soccer on the full-size, 11 versus 11 field.

 

 

SOCCER FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN'S:

 

 We offer recreational soccer for ages 5–18. 

 

At U9–U10, the teams are organized by gender. The children play in an 7 versus 7 format, with goalkeepers, referees and all soccer rules

 

 

At U11–U12, the teams are organized by gender. The children play in an 9 versus 9 format, with goalkeepers, referees and all soccer rules.

 

At age U13 and older will play full field 11V11 format.
